High End Smart Phones Duking It Out

April 3rd, 2010 Posted in iPhone

The battle has been inherent in the smart phone market since Apple first let loose with the very first iPhone, shocking the world with not only the power and range of features it offered, but the extreme ease of use that helped to make the iPhone a real part of every day life. This means that they were able to take almost total control over the market right away because of the intense amount of design work and serious planning they put into both the product and its launch. It has definitely been a long battle for the smart phone competitors, with most attempts to take some iPhone market share ending up in bitter failure. The brand new Samsung Wave could change this if reviewers are on the market with their insight. This is looking to be one of the best competitors to rise up against the Apple kingdom so far and it comes as no surprise to scholars who have been keeping an eye on the Korean based Samsung for many years. The company’s firm resolve to total quality in consumer electronics has kept them in good stead and their ability to really take note of their competition shows in the Wave which emulates many of the iPhones strong points. The Wave may not yet have the brand name power of the iPhone but it certainly does have many features that savvy consumers are going to want in a device that has become enmeshed in their lives to the level that smart phones have. This leads many to predict that it won’t be long before the Wave is taking a real battle to the market and winning over more consumers who might not yet have heard of it.

This signals that Apple is going to need to strike back with their next incarnation of the iPhone because while the current version is doing well, the future is all about raising standards and blowing consumers away with total innovation.
